Please include your browser (Chrome or Edge) and its version, your PDF Desk version (listed on your browser's extensions page), and what you tried. Don't send us private documents. If a file won't open, describe it instead, or send a copy that contains nothing sensitive.

Common questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. PDF Desk opens, edits and saves PDFs on your device, and it makes no network requests. See the privacy policy.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

PDF Desk is free, with no account, watermark or daily limit.

Where can I install it?

PDF Desk is coming soon to the Chrome Web Store. Until then it isn't available to install. Microsoft Edge can install extensions from the Chrome Web Store.

Why can't I type into my form?

PDF Desk fills a PDF's existing fillable (AcroForm) fields. Form text is limited to Western European characters (English, French, German, Spanish and similar). If PDF Desk says it can't show a character, replace it or sign the page instead. Scanned forms have no fields, so you can sign them but not type into them. XFA forms aren't supported. Merging or splitting flattens form fields, so fill forms first.

Can PDF Desk edit existing text, redact or compress?

Not yet. PDF Desk can't edit or delete text that's already in a PDF, redact, compress, password-protect or create new form fields.

How do I delete my saved signatures?

Open PDF Desk's Saved data panel to delete one signature or clear everything. Uninstalling also removes them.
